In August 2025, Kingsoon Optoelectronics officially launched its QCC (Quality Control Circle) initiative under the theme of “Embracing Challenges, Strengthening Unity, and Driving Improvement.” This six-month quality improvement campaign is not merely a targeted corrective measure, but a strategic declaration of the company’s profound transformation toward a quality management model defined by full participation and proactive improvement.
The formation and rollout of the first seven distinctive QCC teams mark Kingsoon’s push to translate continuous improvement from top-level design into grassroots practice, leveraging the innovative power of small units to unlock a new paradigm of high-quality development for the company.

Rooted in the frontline of production and operations, this initiative takes “facing challenges head-on and collaborating in unity” as its spiritual core, enabling each team to become a precise lever for solving real-world problems. The “Kaizen Circle,” composed of production backbones, searches for the keys to efficiency breakthroughs within process flows. The “Core Power Circle,” assembled by equipment maintenance teams, erects a protective barrier to ensure the efficient operation of critical equipment. The “System Guardian Circle” refines the quality management and control system from a professional perspective, fortifying the quality cornerstone of the company’s development. The “Artisan Error-Proofing Circle” delves into process details, using technical innovation to avert quality risks. The “Rapid Delivery & Warehouse Improvement Circle” clears supply chain bottlenecks, making efficiency gains tangible and visible. The “Smart Chip-Driven Circle,” led by R&D elites, wields chip R&D technological innovation as ink and intelligent manufacturing tools as the brush, tackling core challenges such as chip design optimization, tape-out yield improvement, and testing efficiency upgrades, thereby crafting an answer to the transformation from traditional chip production to technology-empowered R&D. The “Training & Agility Circle” establishes a standardized training system, transforming improvement experience into a shared capability asset for all employees. Though each team has a distinct focus, together they sketch a vivid picture of Kingsoon’s “united resolve from top to bottom and all-round initiative across the organization.”

To ignite the enthusiasm and creativity of full participation, the company has established a dual-wheel driving assurance system of “incentives + support.” From team gold awards of up to RMB 30,000 to individual honors such as “Outstanding Organizer” and “Improvement Expert,” every reward is a recognition of innovative achievements and a tribute to the spirit of proactive change. Meanwhile, to ensure the efficient implementation of each team’s activities, the company has allocated dedicated activity funds to every QCC team, which can be flexibly used for practical scenarios such as project research, technical discussions, and team collaboration, thoroughly eliminating members’ concerns. Furthermore, the operating mechanism of “voluntary participation and self-management” breaks down hierarchical and departmental barriers—transforming frontline employees from passive participants into leaders driving project breakthroughs, and shifting middle managers from one-way commanders into resource-coordinating collaborators. This truly realizes a deep integration of cross-level and cross-departmental forces, allowing the seeds of improvement to take root and sprout in every corner of the enterprise.
August was a critical advancement period for Kingsoon’s QCC work. Centered on the goal of “consolidating foundations and empowering practical application,” remarkable results were achieved: specialized QCC training sessions and QCC implementation plan briefings were completed, solidifying the theoretical and institutional foundation. Each team used the training content as a sharp tool—employing the New Seven QC Tools to sort out problems and the Original Seven QC Tools to analyze their essence. Focusing on production efficiency, quality prevention and control, and cost optimization, they locked in multiple improvement topics, broke them down into traceable task nodes, clarified responsibilities and timelines, and formed clear advancement plans. This efficient theory-to-practice conversion not only lays the groundwork for subsequent work but also highlights the commitment of Kingsoon people to proactively breaking through.
In the future, as the “QCC in Action” series of reports is rolled out, we will witness the exploration and breakthroughs of each team on their journey of improvement. This is not just a campaign centered on quality, but a reshaping of corporate vitality. When every employee becomes the protagonist of improvement, and every small step forward converges into the driving force for development, Kingsoon Optoelectronics will surely forge ahead with firmer steps and greater stability on the path of high-quality development.
